Our five-acre hilltop estate offers panoramic views of the Coloma Valley and South Fork of the American River. Breathtaking sunsets across the valley create the perfect backdrop for romantic wedding portraits.
In addition to being a beautiful location, Bella Vista is the perfect option for out-of-town, destination wedding couples. Overnight accommodations can be included for up to 14 guests, taking one more thing to do off your wedding planning list.
We are centrally located between the Bay Area and South Lake Tahoe making us a perfect place to stay before you leave for your honeymoon and start your new life together. If you’re catching a plane to a more exotic location, Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is just an hour away and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is 2.5 hours away.
The surrounding area boasts some of El Dorado County’s finest award winning vineyards. Our Coloma Lotus area also offers activities that are sure to be enjoyed by all your family and friends. Wedding Ceremony with Your Choice of 5 Ceremony Sites *

Bella Vista requires 50% of the site fee as a non-refundable deposit in order to hold the day of your event.
Bella Vista uses exclusive caterers and DJ’s. You have the option to choose your own vendor for your remaining needs but restrictions may apply. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Our wedding packages accommodate 75+ guests. There will be a service charge of $20 per each additional guest over 75. Please contact our event coordinator, Jordan, for specific limitations on the number of guests that may attend. Both the Villa and Bella Basics packages include overnight accommodations for up to 12 guests. Our typical wedding package includes premium ceremony chairs, rehearsal chairs and tables for 75 guests in addition to white, cream or basic colored linens.
Due to the nature of inclement weather, outdoor venues are typically available the end of May through the beginning of October except for small weddings under 25 guests which are available all year long.
A Service Charge is a mandatory and automatic (pre-determined) fee that is typically added to your hotel or caterer contract for the service personnel. Just to give you an idea: Most hotels charge a Service Charge (ranging anywhere from 18% – 24%). A Service Charge is not to be confused with a Gratuity. In the State of California, taxes are applicable to the Service Charge, so please remember to include this when creating your budget. Tips in California are not taxable by person receiving them. This service charge covers Coordination, Set-up/Breakdown, Clean up, Housekeeping & Innkeeper that remains on premise for the weekend.
Depending on the vendors you select, the average Bella Vista wedding including the venue, food, beverage, florist, DJ, service charge, gratuity and photographer for 75 guests is somewhere between $20,000-$25,000.
Normal check-in times apply to wedding packages. Check-in time is 3:00pm. Other arrangements may be negotiated upon availability.
