A reservation is not completed until a confirmation is sent by the Inn by email. Online reservations and room availability can be accessed through our website by clicking here or by calling the Inn at (530) 622-3456. Rates published online are only for the current calendar year and are subject to change without notice.
A 100% deposit is required for a one-night stay and a 50% deposit is required for a multiple night stay. The deposit is taken at the time of the reservation and is refundable, subject to our cancellation policies (below).
A $25 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Guests are responsible and liable for the entire booking if cancelled 12 days or less for one night stays and 14 days for 2 or more night bookings. Guests are also responsible and liable for the entire booking for non-arrival or early departure unless the room can be re-booked by another guest.
Discounted rates are only available at the time of your initial reservation. Discounts and specials cannot be combined or used on holidays.
If you wish to bring people on-site who are not registered guests you must notify the Innkeeper. Additional charges may apply.
Check In & Out:
Check-in time is from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. No check-ins after 6:00 pm unless prior arrangement is made. Check-out time is 11:00 am. Late check-outs may be accommodated when possible. Ask the Innkeeper if this accommodation can be made.
If gift certificate is redeemed after one year from date of purchase you will be responsible for balance if the room rate increases.
Smoking & Candles:
Smoking is prohibited at all times while indoors at Bella Vista, NO EXCEPTIONS. Smoking is permitted on the outdoor patios only. Tampering with smoke alarms in your room is stickily prohibited. Damage to the smoke alarms is a minimum $400 charge. Smoking in your room is an automatic $250 fine.
Candles & Open Flames:
Please use the candles provided in your suite. You may see the owner for smart candles if you need additional lighting. Please be sure to extinguish all candles upon leaving your room and burn them only in safe locations.
We do not allow pets in guest rooms or on the property of the Inn.
Damage & Theft:
Any damage to your room or any of them items within will be billed to your account. The amount charged will vary depending on the extent of the damage. Any item removed from the room will be billed to your account. If it is deemed necessary to remove the room from service due to the damage, the full price room rate will be charged on a pro-rated basis until the room is in service. We reserve the right to pursue damages and restoration charges upon failure to complete payment.
Types of Damages to Consider:
- Makeup – stains to linens and pillowcases can be avoided by using the makeup removers provided in your suite.
- Red Wine – stains to linens and carpets can be costly and impossible to remove after a certain period of time.
- Rose Petals – please use only white or pink rose petals as red rose petals contain a dye that is impossible to remove from carpets or linens. Use “fake” rose petals instead. Fake petals look like the real thing and don’t stain or cause costly damage.
- Smoking – section above regarding smoking.
DVD/Blu-ray Players/Digital Media:
DVD/Blu-ray discs are available for viewing. Please be courteous to fellow guests and limit your selection to 1-2 discs per room and return once finished. Theft or removal of discs from Bella Vista will result in a $35 charge per DVD and a $50 charge per Blu-ray disc.
Security and Personal Property:
Please lock the door of your room if you are out and take the key with you. Bella Vista is not responsible for theft or damage of your valuables during your stay.
You may park in the area designated “guest parking.” Park additional vehicles in the lower parking area by the basketball court. Do not park or block the portico in front of the Inn. Be sure to lock your vehicle. Bella Vista is not responsible for any theft or damage to your vehicle during your stay.
In the case of an emergency please dial 911 from the phone in the common area and call Kathleen or Bob using the phone numbers listed on the emergency contact and evacuation map located on the back of the door in your room.
You may use the phone in the common area for local calls only. Please use your cell phone for long distance calls.
The pool and spa are not for general use. However, Bella Vista guests may use the facilities at the discretion of the owner upon signing a waiver.
Bella Vista can arrange a private massage for you in your suite. Please notify the Innkeeper if you are interested. A 24 hour cancellation notice is required.
Coffee is served at 7:30 AM. Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM daily. If you have a conflict with this time please notify the Innkeeper. Breakfast is served in our dinning room or can be delivered to your room. Please notify the Innkeeper at booking time of any special dietary needs or restrictions. Breakfast is complimentary and cannot be refunded or substituted.
